Certified B Corporation BambuuBrush has partnered with Tops Day Nurseries, the King's Award-winning early years group, to introduce bamboo toothbrushes across its 33 nursery settings in the south of England — preventing an estimated 200kg of plastic from entering circulation every year.
The partnership will transition approximately 10,000 children's toothbrushes annually to BambuuBrush's sustainable bamboo alternative, available through early years distributor Gompels from September 2026. Tops Day Nurseries, which provides early years education and care to more than 4,000 children, is a Certified B Corporation committed to carbon neutrality and plastic-free practices across all its settings.
For BambuuBrush, the partnership marks another step toward its mission of stopping 1,000,000kg of plastic toothbrushes from entering commercial circulation by 2030 — a goal it is currently 25% toward, having stopped over 250,000kg to date alongside partners including Virgin Atlantic, LUSH Cosmetics and SUMA Wholefoods.
