Earth Day is on April 22 of every year. This year will mark 50 years of the special event being celebrated. Netflix isn’t just for bingeing Tiger king, but also for educating yourself about sustainability. 
The true cost - If you haven’t yet watched this staple documentary exposing the exploits of the fast fashion industry. A MUST WATCH! You will change you will change your shopping habits once you  know the true journey of the clothes you wear. 
A plastic ocean - Another must watch! All about investigating pollution's environmental impacts. Eye opening to say the least. Add it to the list for sure.
The 11th hour - Staring  Leonardo DiCaprio! If you can't find this on Netflix you will somewhere on the web. WOW WOW WOW.  This 2007 film explores how humanity has arrived at the 11th hour – the last possible moment that change is possible for our planet and its ecosystems. It's amazing! 
Sustainable - Sustainable is a powerful documentary that explores agricultural issues. In addition to that, it shows how to sustain our resources. This is in order to save what the future generations would be consuming eventually.
3. Use your garden and grown your own! 
 

Spring is here and the sun is making an appearance. It’s a nice bit of positivity amid these unprecedented times and it’s becoming the perfect opportunity to do a spot of gardening. No matter how big or small your space, you can start growing plants, flowers and other foliage. Use Pinterest to gather inspiration. You can even start to build your own allotment, think of it as a project.  

 

4. Make simple changes away from plastic 

As you are spending more time at home in isolation, you may be recognising more plastic items around the house. 5. Reuse your waste

So before you throw those items away, think about how they can be reused.
