FLOODING DIGITAL SCREENS WITH EDUCATION THAT MATTERS 

@BambuuBrush hosted a virtual Earth day, inviting special guests to join them, educating children and parents from all over the world. Over 2000 viewers tuned in making the day a huge success, hosted by @BambuuBrush founders, Rebecca Dudbridge & Tommie Eaton.

The day consisted of 7 lessons/interviews Live on facebook. @Bambuubrush wanted to use the power of social media in a positive way to educate and celebrate Earth day with as many children as possible.

LESSON 1 - PLASTIC POLLUTION WORKSHOP 
The founders of @Bambuubrush started the day off and delivered their plastic pollution workshop.
They strive to educate, inspire and empower people to make simple changes away from plastic and aim to create positive impact around the world and thats exactly what they did.
INTERVIEW - FIONN FERREIRA 

GOOGLE'S 2019 WORLD SCIENCE FAIR WINNERAt just 18 years old, he successfully developed a method to extract microplastics out of water using vegetable oil and rust powder. He can remove them by simply using a magnet. His interview was so inspiring for the children and parents, defiantly worth a watch.

LESSON 3 - NICOLE BONZIE - P.E LESSON

Nicole is a professional dancer. Her recent Movie credits include Aladdin with Will Smith, Cats with Jenifer Hudson and Mama Mia with Meryl Streep. She has danced for some of the worlds biggest stars including Rita Ora, Demi Lavato, Nicole Scherzinger and many more!!! Her lesson was so much fun, choreographing a dance to Justin Timberlake song, "Can't stop the feeling" from DreamWorks animations, Trolls.

LESSON 4 - GENEVIEVE JONES-HERNANDEZ - ART LESSON

Genevieve is the international development manager for Humanitas charity.An inspiring women who is so passionate about helping others. Genevieve has dedicated her life to supporting the world’s most vulnerable individuals. Genevieve delivered the arts & craft lesson. Making instruments from recycled household items.

LESSON 5 - RUTH STEEL - MUSIC LESSON 

Ruth delivered the most amazing music lesson. Teaching the children her own rendition of the Earth song by Lil dicky. The children absolutely loved it. Worth watching back on the live session. 

INTERVIEW WITH EVERYDAY PLASTIC

Dan is the founder of everyday plastic which has gained a huge amount of momentum in educating every day people that we need to understand our own plastic consumption to create change.
After seeing the impact of plastic on our British shores dan wanted to understand his plastic consumption so kept every item for a year and then studied what he consumed... he now spreads his message and awareness to others. A very interesting interview with him.
LESSON 7 - AMAZING APPRENTICESHIPS RECYCLED QUIZ
 
Amazing apprenticeships hosted a quiz on items that can and cannot be recycled. A very interesting quiz which went down a storm. A fantastic way to end an educational and fun day.
Through out the day @BambuuBrush put on many competitions for the viewers to take part in. The team announced some very exciting news, they will be expanding their products! They let the viewers know that one product will be a water bottle and that they want the children to design one side of the packaging!
HOW COOL IS THAT!
The winner of that competition will be announced next month!
Not only was the day free of charge, @Bambuubrush also provided all the children with a homework resource pack which consisted of earth day related activities which will keep the children busy throughout this COVID-19 period.
@BambuuBrush strive to educate, inspire and empower children worldwide and that's certainly what they did.
